2023 Herbicide Spray Matrix- AVCA
The below is a summary of the herbicides sprayed by month and location in Aliso Viejo. The majority of the parks are sprayed continuously every single month with multiple herbicides. Four of those parks are sprayed with as many as 7 different herbicides within ONE MONTH! We believe that this toxic practice is bordering on reckless and negligent at best.
Please ask yourself this question - would you take your kids or walk your dog at a park that's been sprayed 7 times in the past 30 days?
2023 List of Herbicides Sprayed - AVCA
In 2023, Aliso Viejo Community Association (AVCA) sprayed 17 different synthetic chemicals in public parks and streets/slopes. Of the 17 products sprayed, 10 of them are labeled with signal word "Danger" by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This is considered Toxicity Category I, the highest toxicity level a product can be rated by the administration.
