Shortly after in July 2023, Carolyn was diagnosed as chemically disabled by her doctor. Her toxins test showed her glyphosate levels reached 29.17 ug/g, which is almost 300% over 100th percentile. According to her doctor, this high level isn't possible through diet and must be from environmental exposure. Carolyn used to be a marathon runner. She became disabled after inhaling the sprays through herbicide drift. Her symptoms included: chronic fatigue, brain fog, rashes, dry eyes, joint pain, shortness of breath, tremors & more. Her husband & 2 young children developed symptoms. Cumulative exposure from inhalation has also made several other residents all over Aliso Viejo sick, as well as many dogs. Since news has spread, we've learned of several dogs that died shortly after exposure to
"DANGER" label is designated on the storage container of the herbicide. This is the highest toxicity level that can be designated by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). AVCA continues to spray weed killer at this highest toxicity level all over Aliso Viejo.

Residents were in their backyards and were sprayed from several feet away causing respiratory dysfunction and worsening of several symptoms for the exposed residents.
