Below, you will find the schedules for herbicides used in Aliso Viejo along with their application dates and locations. The application schedule states "spot treatment only" however, this is difficult for the landscapers to manage and supervise. We are working on clarification of what the application spots entail (turf, slopes, planter beds, etc.) as it is not specified. Please send any documentation as pictures or videos with locations if you see misuse occurring in your area.

AVCA allowed unauthorized spraying of Lifeline Herbicide @ Wood Canyon Trail (Canyon View Park) on 2/16. This trail is NOT on the spray schedule! The herbicide's active ingredient is Glufosinate-Ammonium, which is equivalent to Glyphosate (Roundup).

Herbicide Application without PPE
Nov. 7, 2023: Mission Landscape spray tech applying toxic herbicide without proper PPE. Other Mission employees were also working nearby without PPE.
Pacific Park Spraying Near Pedestrians
April 16, 2024: Mission landscaper spraying Lifeline Herbicide at a residential slope on Pacific Park Dr. No signs were posted and the area wasn’t closed off. A pedestrian entered the spray area during application which is a federal violation against the chemical label.
